About Olive Rose
My Story
I’m Amy, the person behind Olive Rose Weddings.
Olive Rose started after my own wedding in 2024. I spent months planning, making things, choosing flowers, changing my mind and probably overthinking every tiny detail. I loved it though, and after the wedding I found myself missing the creative side of it all.
I’ve always enjoyed being creative and making things look nice, but planning my own wedding made me realise just how much I loved bringing everything together and seeing it all come to life.
So, I decided to give it a go.
What started as a little idea has grown into something I’m genuinely really proud of. I’ve learnt so much along the way, built up my collection, worked with some amazing couples and watched Olive Rose grow into something I never really expected it to.
I’m quite particular when it comes to my work. I notice the little things. I’ll probably move something three times until it looks right, and I’m definitely the person who will straighten a chair or fluff a bit of foliage even when nobody else would notice.
But that’s because I care about how your wedding looks and, more importantly, how you feel about it.
I love getting to know my couples, hearing all about their plans and then seeing everything come together on the day. Being trusted with such an important part of someone’s wedding is something I never take for granted.
That’s Olive Rose. A business I built from my own wedding, a lot of hard work and a genuine love for what I do.
The Team
Meet Siân
This is Siân, my right-hand woman and the person who keeps me sane on wedding days.
Siân is the muscles behind Olive Rose, she’s so strong! She’s there with me for the early starts, the loading, the endless boxes and all those little details that need to be just right. She’s brilliant at keeping everything organised and calm, especially when there are a hundred things happening at once.
We work really well together. I’m usually the one moving things around and saying “what if we put this here?”, while Siân is keeping everything on track and making sure it all gets done.
She’s a huge part of Olive Rose and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better person to have alongside me on wedding days.
Together, we’re there to make sure everything comes together beautifully, while hopefully having a bit of fun along the way.
